Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre is a family orientated early childhood education provider, committed to providing a quality childcare and education service for all Tamariki.
We pride ourselves on encouraging inclusive practices and welcome all Tamariki and their whānau with open arms. We value each child’s holistic development and respect the diverse range of abilities each child possesses. With a primary focus on creating and fostering honest, respectful, and reciprocal relationships with Tamariki, their families and whānau; Kaiako endeavour to ensure meaningful and equitable learning outcomes for all Tamariki.
At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre, we believe that all Tamariki are unique individuals who learn through play. Our goal is to create and maintain safe, secure, caring and stimulating environments which will enable Tamariki to play, learn, explore, and develop in ways which are meaningful to them and their whānau.
At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre, we acknowledge Māori as tangata whenua of Aotearoa. We focus on creating bicultural spaces where te ao Māori is seen, felt, and heard. We aim to uphold the promises outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure our Māori ākonga and their whānau feel a sense of belonging within our early learning environments. With a strong focus on bicultural practice, we encourage to embed the virtues of manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga, aroha and whanaungatanga through
everything we do.
At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre, we focus on collaborating with parents, caregivers, families and whānau to create inspiring multicultural spaces for Tamariki to learn and feel a strong sense of belonging. We believe that all Tamariki and their whānau bring with them a wealth of knowledge and endeavour to inspire and support all Tamariki to be themselves as they discover and develop their identity – what makes them unique, embracing and respecting each other’s cultures and heritage.
At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre we believe in working closely with our local community to create a meaningful and culturally rich and responsive curriculum that is meaningful to our community, Kaiako, Tamariki, parents, families and Whānau. We believe in creating learning spaces that are informed, stimulating, opportunistic and inspiring. We endeavour to work alongside local Iwi, Kura, council and other important agencies to enable Tamariki to develop self-awareness within our local communities.
With quality education being our primary focus, we at Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre pride ourselves on our ability to recognise and incorporate the NZ ECE Curriculum framework, Te Whāriki including its principles, strands and positive learning outcomes for our Tamariki. At Kiwi Supertots Learning Centre, we believe that exceptional education and care comes from quality Kaiako – therefore we aim to support our teaching and management team with consistent learning opportunities and growth through regular and ongoing professional development as well as ongoing mentoring, coaching for each Kaiako’s professional growth cycles.
With these beliefs interwoven into our daily practices, we strive to support all Tamariki to become competent and confident life-long learners, through holistic development.
